I came across an article that I found alarming. Women were questioning whether it is okay to sleep in Mineral Makeup?
Well, as well all know unless you want to look like you are 65 by the time you are 35, then no, don’t wash your face, by all means girl, sleep in it! Shoot, while you’re at it, don’t bother whiping the mascara off or removing your contact lenses either – those are apparently breathable too, right? (sarcasm ladies, and gents)
It literally takes only 3-5 minutes out of your day to take it off; that includes the opening of the container and closing the of the sucker. Love your skin. Love your face, you only get one and we all have to look at you, not just YOU. If you are too lazy to wash it, use the Towelettes. If you are too lazy to clean your face, then don’t wear makeup. It’s that easy.
After I responded to the Tweet, another individual on Twitter asked my opinion for Makeup removers. So, here is my responses and I am linking it to Twitter. I do have a few favorite Makeup Removers and Cleansers.
TOP 7 FAVORITE CLEANSERS/REMOVERS (and my why I picked them):
1. Bliss Fabulous Make-up Melt Gel to Oil Cleanser ($28)
This product ABSOLUTELY delivers! Gets it ALL off! Even those new tar-like mascara’s that give you crazy Crunchy Spider Lashes and that way too long wearing foundation that makes you look like you should be acting in theater instead of interacting in real-life.
2. Arcona White Tea Purifying Cleanser ($42)
Now, this is for my “Nature Girls”. This product is gentle but really packs a punch! Smells AMAZING and gets you deep clean. Gives you a great glow as well. You do however, need an additional Waterproof Makeup Remover, this is not “harsh” enough to get rid of that.
3. Sephora Triple Action Cleansing Water ($20)
AMAZINGBALLS and you get the big bang for your buck here! A little goes a long way. It DOES sting sensitive skin, so be careful BUT this is like magic in a jar waiting to strip your face back to it’s beautiful self.
4. Neutrogena Cleansing Towelettes ($6)
Well, because we can’t always have complete energy to give ourselves the true “good cleansing,” PLEASE don’t skip it Ladies & Gent’s! Use a Cleansing Cloth…
5. Dermadoctor Wrinkle Revenge Cleanser $26
This gives you a good, deep clean and it has lots of resurfacing agents in it.
No need to use a toner afterwards. Best part is, you start out on a dry face when you use this product; that kills one step in the lazy face washing factor! Another Brownie point on this one is that it’s actually re-texturizing your skin as you clean your makeup off!
6. NARS Eye Makeup Remover ($25)
The eye makeup remover is awesome! Removes waterproof makeup and tough high pigment lip colors as well! Doesn’t sting my eyes, which is a miracle, because everything does!
7. NARS Makeup Removing Water ($28)
Makeup Removing Water works like a charm as well! Gets rid of long wear makeup, like that pesky contouring that just cakes up the face! Good stuff! Doesn’t sting.
