Graze Box Review: I’m still hungry!

So I subscribed to Graze and mind you, my first box was free BUT I also got half the items. So it’s kinda like a Jedi Mind Trick or plain old too good to be true because we need you to subscribe to get it free AND get the full box next time. So TECHNICALLY friends, nothing is ever free- ever.

I got my first shipment and was pretty excited as I’m a light to medium snacker and want a little variety in my life as the carrot sticks, hummus and granola bars have gotten old!

My box had 4 snacks.

A tiny little bag of microwave popcorn. I think it made about 1.5 cups – it is popcorn, you can’t really go wrong here.

Chocolate Pecan Pie nut, chocolate & seed mix. This was really tasty! I’m a sucker for nuts and seeds! The nuts were nice and fresh, good level of roasting and nice flavoring that was more of a dessert snack. Really bummed this is only two small handfuls.

Grilled Cheese flavored crackers, nuts and croutons. This is my least favorite of the bunch. It tasted strange. Like chemicals. Fake easy cheese. Not a fan. I don’t know how I would feel about throwing down a ton of change on a bunch of croutons that taste like chemicals, glad this was free.

Now THIS, this is DELICIOUS! Holy shit it’s good! I never thought of compote and biscuits! Well, sweet and slightly savory shortbread biscuits. They have a wheat like texture and aren’t too sweet, perfect for dipping in the berry compote that really just tastes like raspberries, blackberries, sugar and a bit of lemon – but oh so good! Wish there would of been a 3rd cookie…

So this is the Pecan Pie, not nearly a handful as you can see and more than half the container is gone. I feel like this is just expensive for what you get when you actually pay the subscription price of $11.99 AND that’s just the starting price for a basic box.

I like that it offers healthier choices with cleaner ingredients and calories posted on the package. I don’t like that it leaves me still hungry and wanting to graze for MORE as it doesn’t quite hit the spot- it’s just not enough. I subscribed for 2 months then moved on. It was not a good fit for me, I can get some serious snacking in at $11.99 with a trip to the store…
